Serving as a kick off to Black History Month, The Dallas Mavericks hosts an annual African American Heritage Night (AAHN). In 2019, the Mavericks tapped Authentique to deliver an activation strategy that enhances the 2019 AAHN experience, elevates the 20th year of celebration, and encourages a sense of pride in attendees.

Goals
• Increase awareness of The Dallas Mavericks AAHN celebration,
• Identify engagement touch points that provide opportunities for consumer generated content
• Create a concept that speaks to African Americans and culture, while capturing the energy of The Dallas Mavericks

• Designed target relevant merchandise creative that encouraged attendees to display their pride
