The Challenge

Twitter hosted a TwitterVoices Café at the 2022 CultureCon Atlanta, a conference for creatives, influencers, and young professionals of color to attend break-out panel sessions about entrepreneurship. Attendees were invited to enjoy free coffee and lattes provided by The Black Coffee Company while engaging with other creatives in an intimate and welcoming setting and tune in to candid conversations between creatives/entrepreneurs outside of two Twitter Spaces pods. This was the first time that CultureCon activated in Atlanta and the turnout was strong from panelists to brands to influencers to cultural connectors and beyond. The atmosphere was electric and provided ample opportunity for collaboration and support of notable and local brands organically.

The Objective

We had to capture quality content in real-time to help create shareable/ tweet-able moments and secured an influential personality to bolster attendee engagement. Finally, we needed to drive engagement to an organic space for attendees to embrace friends/colleagues, establish new connections, and network with each other

Solutions & Results

The Twitter Café was by far the most actively engaged space at CultureCon. There was never a point where it was empty and the setup allowed for collaboration and connection, while also giving a local business a moment to shine bright. We secured and captured Jay Ellis for an impromptu Twitter Spaces conversation, which was shared with his 158.9K followers on Twitter.
