The Challenge

The Country Music Association (CMA) is the premier trade association of the Country Music genre that represents and honors industry professionals making a living globally. Authentique partnered with the association to support the renewed focus and efforts connected to multicultural engagement that impacted the brand’s overall positioning.

The Objectives

We needed to establish an actionable response to how the association embraces multicultural engagement, whilst providing the association membership with a clear path to change. Said path would then require us to implement the necessary steps that would support its ongoing efforts. Finally, we were to emphasize the association’s evolution of one of its most notable awards shows to promote greater inclusivity.

Solutions & Results

Crafted talking points and conducted media training to prep the CEO, delivered onsite, reputation management support at the awards show as needed, reviewed and revised the correspondence for the association membership to address their stance on diversity and inclusion.
